If you are concerned that you or someone you have been with sexually may be showing signs of having vaginal herpes but are not quite sure what the symptoms are and what to expect here is a guide of the most common symptoms of herpes.

Genital herpes is spread from close physical contact with another individual who has the herpes virus generally during sexual intercourse without the use of a condom. If you have been with someone who has herpes you may see symptoms as soon as a couple of days after intercourse up to three weeks after intercourse. Your first herpes outbreak is likely to be the worst one you will ever have. There are however many who do not claim to experience anything and do not realize they even have herpes.

Symptoms of herpes include sores around the vaginal area and can be included on the thighs, anus and urethra. Many women mistake these for type of infection or boil. It is imperative that you call your doctor if you notice these so you can be tested properly. Other symptoms include headaches, aching muscles, running a fever, back pain specifically in the lower back, and red, sore skin in the genital area. Women can also experience itching, vaginal burning or a burning when they have to urinate. Some may have more complicated symptoms of herpes such as meningitis.

” Diagram of where STDS can affect a Womens Body”

If you have been with someone that you suspect has herpes and you did not use a condom you should always contact your doctor to get tested. It is important that you are honest with your doctor that you suspect you are showing symptoms of herpes because it can sometimes be misdiagnosed as a yeast infection or pelvic inflammatory disease. It is important to not that even if the person you have had sex with is not showing any direct signs of having herpes that they can still spread it to you. It is always important to practice safe sex and use a condom every time to prevent the chances of catching herpes.

Natural Cure for Herpes

There are special medications and herbal supplements you can take if you are diagnosed with herpes that can ease the symptoms. Some of the all natural herbal supplements are excellent at removing all the symptoms of a herpes outbreak. These natural remedies do work but be aware that they can be expensive. Be sure to talk to your doctor about these options to see if they are right for you if you want to cure your herpes. It is important to remember that this virus is one of the most common problems that affect millions of people globally.

A lot of people may not realize this but a huge percentage of people had oral herpes when they were a young child and it stayed dormant inside of them. This type of herpes is not rare. Even babies get this. Luckily, modern technology and medicine has improved so it is easier to treat it. There isn’t anything more embarrassing than to have sores that people can see. A lot of people, especially teens and young adults allow this to hinder their social activities.

There are a few medicines that treat oral herpes and can keep it from coming back as pronounced. What we look like is very important for anyone. It affects how we feel, mentally, and can affect how we live our lives. Also, there are other ways to help prevent herpes from coming back. Ultimately, it will come back, from time to time, but these tips can help it to be more manageable. Some people prefer to use medicine and others prefer to use natural remedies or diet. There are tips for either preference below.

Some popular medicines to treat oral herpes are chap sticks made for this purpose (found at your local pharmacy), peroxide rinses, diluted with water (1 part peroxide, two parts water), and creams and other ointments specifically made to treat oral herpes. Most stuff on the market that is bought without a prescription is not the greatest choice. It is a better idea to go and get a prescription from a doctor. Ultimately, there are pills (Valtrex) that one can take, prescribed by a doctor, and those work very well. Some people do not want to take pills, but the pills do work very well. Just make sure to drink lots of water if you decide to use the prescription pills. This will help your body flush out the medicine faster and your liver will not be affected from it. With any medicine, if we do not drink lots of water, it can affect the liver.

Controlling this type of herpes with diet can be done. Believe it or not, there are certain foods that can make oral herpes worse. Some of these foods are chocolate, peanuts (the oils), sunflower seeds, and certain fish that has a shell, certain grains like oatmeal or wheat bread, and some vegetables that can make the sores worse are carrots and corn. That covers a few of the food groups that most of us love to eat. There are some great foods that we can eat, though. Eggs and other dairy products, especially yogurt, are great foods to eat. These foods will help oral herpes to heal if we add them into our diet every day. Some other foods that help with this kind of herpes are chicken, flounder, and apples. Wow! Apples! Who would have guessed that? That is really neat. Most people love apples so that should not be a tough one to add to the diet, and the prices are still pretty decent for apples. Drinking lots of water can help the herpes to stay less dominant, too.

If you have chosen to try to control the oral herpes by diet and are not having any success with it, please go and see your doctor. There are so many new things invented each year that helps people with this type of herpes. There is no need to suffer with it. Sure, it can be embarrassing and painful, but there are ways to treat it. Get back out there and spend time with your friends again!

There are two forms of the Herpes virus which are HSV1 (Herpes Simplex Virus 1) and HSV2. Herpes Simplex 1 is usually found around the mouth area. Type 2 is situated on the genital area of the body. Both types can be passed to other parts of the body during a Herpes outbreak but once healed an outbreak will re-occur from the original source, on the body. Outbreaks usually occur 3-5 times a year for most individuals. Some pictures of the Herpes virus can be quite graphic but many Herpes photos can show that controling the herpes virus, can require minimal work.

There are a few simple methods to help control a Herpes breakout which include sunshine, dietary changes and Herpes medication. Direct exposure to the sun can make the Herpes virus resurface itself as well as drinking alcohol but Herpes medication creams and oitnments can help prevent a breakout or resurfacing if applied as soon as the pre-outbreak Herpes tingling is felt.

Prevention for the Herpes virus begins with contraception as the Herpes virus is an STD (sexually transitted disease). The Herpes virus is not passed through bodily fluids but with direct contact of the virus during an outbreak. Many individuals live years with the virus, unknown to it’s existence but that does not mean that in can not be spread.

The Herpes virus can not be passed through sharing towels, clothes or kissing someone with a Herpes virus when the virus is not on the skin’s surface. Symptoms of the Herpes Simplex virus can range from an outbreak of Herpes sores, nausea and migraines but many individuals spent most of the year forgetting that they have Herpes.

Eating nuts can encourage an out beak of Herpes as well as stress. The most important aid against outbreaks and symptoms of Herpes is by building up our bodies natural immune system. When the immune system is weakened the Herpes virus can rear it’s head with ease, regularly. There are vitamins such a vitamin C, B and zinc as well as others that our bodies require daily, to help our immune systems fight against viruses and their side effects.

Herpes are sexual transmitted and is caused by the herpes simplex virus disease. Getting herpes is easy but getting rid of herpes is a different story. Herpes as of right now can be treated but there’s really no real cure for curing herpes. Once you get it you may be stuck with it for the rest of your life. Symptoms may take a while to appear when you receive herpes, making it unnoticeable while you may be spreading it to other people. When symptoms do appear they usually appear as blisters or bumps around the mouth or lips. The blisters that appear usually break leaving sore that will take about four weeks to get rid of the first time. The following outbreaks are usually shorter than the first outbreak, and over years the number of outbreaks tends to decrease.
Herpes are more common than many people may think. The number of people infected with herpes have decreased over the years but it use to be as bad as 1 out of 5 adults had it. That’s 20% of the population of adults. Thankfully that number has slimmed down and hopefully will continue to slim down. Herpes overall are more common in women than in men. In recent research statements have been claimed that herpes are more common in women than in men. About one out of four women are infected with herpes. That’s a regretful 25%.
Most of the time herpes are spread from people who are not aware that they have it. Since they do not know that they have it, certain precautions that are needed are not taking causing the spread of herpes to their partner. Herpes can also be obtained when someone has a fever blister around the mouth or lips and kisses someone else. That can cause herpes but fever blisters are not herpes itself. This form rarely happens to produce herpes but it can happen.
The best way to prevent the spread of herpes is to stay away from sexual contact unless you’re in a relationship with some one that you can trust who has gotten tested for sexual diseases. The use of Condoms can also lower the risk of obtaining herpes. If your partner has herpes you should avoid sexual contact from that person when symptoms are present.

It is important that you know your STD status on a regular basis. Depending on your rate of sexual activity and amount of partners, you’ll need to get tested for STDs a couple to a few times per year. Many are afraid to get tested for STDs in fear that they will test positive. While this is a normal reaction to STD tests, it is important to note that the sooner a STD is caught, the sooner one can take medication to either clear it up, reduce the symptoms, or greatly reduce the risk of spreading it to other partners. Taking care of your sexual health is a benefit for your future partners, but most importantly yourself. One of the more common STDs is herpes because of how easy it is to transmit. Symptoms of herpes can be blisters on the genital area or the mouth. Often, those infected with herpes believe they can only spread the virus if they are having an outbreak. This is not so. While having an outbreak can greatly increase the chance of spreading herpes, the infected partner can pass on the virus at any time, whether they are having an outbreak or not. Since herpes is a virus, it can never be cured. However, with herpes medication, the symptoms, which are often painful will reduce or not occur at all. STD symptoms are different depending on the type of STD. This is why one should get checked on a regular basis as symptoms sometimes do not always appear. However, some symptoms may include irregularly colored discharge, genital sores or blisters and painful urination. In addition to getting regular screenings for STDs, you’ll want to practice safer sex with your partner. Talk with your partner about condom use. Not only are condoms highly effective, when used correctly, on preventing STDs, it can also help prevent HIV and pregnancy. While condoms are most effective at preventing the spread of STDs from one partner to the next, it is communication that is key. Talking with your partner about their sexual health and your own can help keep the both of you healthy. While disclosing information about having an STD can be difficult, it is in everyone’s best interest to do so.
